We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Housekeeper to join our team at Good Hospitality Services. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our housekeeping department and ensuring that our guests receive the highest level of service.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Maintain compliance with company policies, practices, and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
- Implement and maintain departmental cleaning quality standards and procedures to ensure exceptional guest satisfaction.
- Assign rooms to be cleaned to room attendants daily and inspect all rooms and common areas to ensure quality standards are met.
- Supervise the day-to-day operation of the department and work activities of assigned personnel, including housemen, room attendants, and laundry attendants.
- Confer and cooperate with other property personnel to resolve operating problems and ensure coordination of property activities.
- Interview and recommend new personnel as needed and implement training programs for all assigned personnel.
- Initiate and recommend personnel actions, including employee counseling sessions, reprimands, performance appraisals, and terminations.
- Report significant results, problems, and personnel actions to the General Manager.
- Conduct department meetings for all personnel and conduct a period-ending inventory of supplies and linen.
- Complete purchase requests and submit to the General Manager for approval, and place orders with vendors for approved purchases.
- Check and record pertinent comments into the front desk log and execute other associated responsibilities as directed by the General Manager.
- Report in proper uniform, which is cleaned and pressed, and assign daily duties for housemen to complete.
- Responsible for training of assigned personnel to ensure quality standards and other duties as assigned.
