Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting department staff with review of prospective LIHTC opportunities, including preliminary project intake, review of project proforma and tax credit application, information transfer into Evernorth proprietary syndication financial model, preliminary letter of interest generation, and responses to request for equity investment proposals.
  • Providing support to department staff in pre-closing due diligence, financial modeling, and underwriting of LIHTC and NMTC investments by preparing initial due diligence checklists, collecting and tracking information, performing initial review of due diligence received, uploading information for file/information sharing, and drafting legal intake forms.
  • Administration of various department reports, including working with directors and staff to confirm updates and data field population, managing a database of investments, collecting project outcomes/impact data, and assisting with the preparation of reports.

This role also requires developing skills and knowledge of LIHTC, NMTC, Evernorth proprietary syndication financial model, investment underwriting and closing process, upholding corporate principles of respect, service, value, and partnership, and performing other tasks as reasonably requested by the Vice President of Community Investments and Directors of Community Investment.
