Position Title: Manufacturing Engineer (Entry-Level)

Role Summary: This role emphasizes design for production, documentation for manufacturing, tooling development, and engineering assistance in the production of antennas, both stationary and mobile systems, along with associated equipment.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate closely with the production team to facilitate the assembly and testing of the company's products.
  • Analyze product test failures and offer troubleshooting assistance.
  • Partner with Quality Assurance to create statistical process control techniques aimed at enhancing product assembly and testing efficiency.
  • Assist in failure analysis and evaluation of customer-returned products.
  • Deliver effective design for manufacturing support throughout the conceptual, detailed design, integration, and testing stages of product development, ensuring timely completion of assigned tasks.
  • Prepare and showcase design materials during both internal and external design evaluations.
  • Develop assembly instructions for components and antenna systems.
  • Create tooling and fixtures to support component and antenna system assembly and testing.
  • Engage with suppliers throughout the manufacturing process of a project.
  • Adhere to company protocols and corporate policies.
  • Undertake additional tasks as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering is mandatory (preferably in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering (candidates with 2-5 years of relevant experience are preferred).
  • Familiarity with assembly methods and tooling design is advantageous.
  • Knowledge in fasteners, adhesives, coatings, sealing, and industry standards is preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.

Language Proficiency:
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams as well as suppliers and clients.
  • Capability to present information effectively in team meetings and design reviews as required.

Other Qualifications:
  • Ability to communicate thoughtfully and calmly.
  • Strong problem-solving skills are essential.

Physical Requirements:
  • Willingness to travel up to 5% of the time.
  • This position involves using a computer terminal for data access, input, and retrieval.
  • The role may experience interruptions that necessitate a shift in immediate priorities or focus.
  • Employees may occasionally need to stand, walk, sit, stoop, reach, or bend.
  • Ability to lift and/or move files or boxes weighing up to 40 pounds may be required.
  • The position may involve irregular or extended working hours.
  • Extended periods of sitting may be necessary.
  • Must be capable of working in environments that may occasionally expose them to loud noises, hazardous materials, and chemicals.
