Immediate Opportunities Available:

Join our team as an Equipment Maintenance Technician, where you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of our machinery across multiple sites.

This role involves conducting routine preventative maintenance to guarantee that all equipment operates efficiently.

In the event of equipment malfunction, you will diagnose issues and execute repairs using appropriate tools and techniques, as well as replace any non-repairable components.

As part of your responsibilities, you will collaborate with the Service Manager to maintain operational continuity.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Perform maintenance on all equipment in accordance with company standards, including regular inspections and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Change oil and filters, and lubricate machinery as needed.
  • Prepare equipment for daily operations.
  • Conduct repairs or replace parts based on the work schedule.
  • Travel to job sites for on-site repairs when necessary.
  • Address flat tires and perform tire changes as required.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues remotely when applicable.
  • Engage in welding and metal fabrication tasks.
  • Ensure all vehicles meet DOT specifications consistently.
  • Maintain accurate records of parts used and time spent on repairs.
  • Operate pumps as needed.
  • Be available for overtime work as required by the schedule.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES:

All tasks performed must adhere to safety and regulatory guidelines set forth by the company.

Maintain the workshop in accordance with the company service manual.

Ensure that all inventory items are stored safely and kept in an orderly fashion.

Access all necessary areas of equipment for maintenance and repairs, including challenging spaces.

Maintain equipment located at customer job sites.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position does not include supervisory duties.


QUALIFICATIONS:

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:

  • Training in mechanical repairs, including hydraulic and electrical systems.
  • Strong welding and metal fabrication skills.
  • A valid Federal DOT Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and Medical Card.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of company equipment and its maintenance requirements.
  • A personal collection of tools and a toolbox, with responsibility for their upkeep.
  • The ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

EDUCATION:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required; mechanical trade school experience is preferred.


WORKING CONDITIONS:

Candidates must meet DOT standards for hearing and vision.

Effective verbal communication skills are essential.

Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities is necessary.

Physical demands include:

  • Manual dexterity to navigate around various equipment.
  • Capability to lift up to 75 pounds overhead.
  • Heavy lifting of parts and tools, with the ability to utilize lifting equipment when necessary.
  • Ability to push and pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Capacity to stand for extended periods.
  • Tolerance for outdoor working conditions, including extreme temperatures and weather.
  • Availability for overtime and weekend work as needed.
