Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough investigations, evaluations, and settlements of entry-level insurance claims.
  • Familiarize oneself with insurance policies, endorsements, and forms to build a solid understanding of the company's insurance offerings.
  • Adhere to company protocols for claims management.
  • Develop foundational skills in negotiation and settlement of claims.
  • Cultivate the ability to effectively meet the needs of agents, policyholders, and other involved parties.
  • Engage with claimants, legal representatives, and third-party entities.
  • Acquire specialized skills, including estimating losses and utilizing designated software for claims adjustment.
  • Obtain and maintain an adjuster's license as required by law or company policy.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in property/casualty claims management.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and make independent decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficient in report writing and correspondence.
  • Capable of resolving complex issues effectively.

  • Skilled in interacting with a diverse range of individuals.
  • Competent in handling mathematical tasks, including geometry and financial calculations.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and maintain a driving record that aligns with company guidelines.
