Key Responsibilities
  • Table Clearing and Resetting
    • Clear tables promptly after guests leave, removing all dishes, silverware, glasses, and trash.
    • Wipe down the table, chairs, and surrounding area to ensure cleanliness.
    • Reset tables with new services if needed.
  • Assisting Servers
    • Help servers by refilling water glasses, bringing bread or other complimentary items to the table, and delivering additional silverware or napkins as needed.
    • Assist with carrying large trays of food or beverages to and from the kitchen and the bar area.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance
    • Keep the dining area clean by sweeping or vacuuming as needed and wiping down surfaces.
    • Regularly check and clean restrooms, ensuring they are stocked with necessary supplies.
    • Take out trash and recycling, and ensure disposal areas are kept clean.
  • Support During Peak Hours
    • Quickly and efficiently clear tables to ensure a fast turnover during busy times.
    • Assist in restocking server stations with necessary supplies, such as napkins, condiments, and glassware.
  • Team Communication
    • Communicate effectively with servers, hosts, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
    • Inform the host or manager of table availability and any issues that need attention.
