Job Description:

The Hotel Zamora, a luxurious boutique hotel located in St. Pete Beach, FL, is seeking an experienced Digital Marketing Coordinator. With stunning views overlooking the Intercoastal Waterway and Gulf of Mexico, the hotel provides a unique retreat for its guests.

The Digital Marketing Coordinator is responsible for designing and executing the hotel's digital marketing strategy, including website and social media channels. This role partners with hotel management, vendors, and onsite Sales teams to lead hotel digital media operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Creates engaging content and develops digital campaigns to drive website traffic and social media engagement.
  • Oversees online advertising initiatives to increase brand awareness and drive bookings.
  • Manages online reputation by monitoring and responding to guest reviews and engagements.
  • Evaluates and determines new ways to lead the market in social conversations.
  • Drives listening initiatives, audience engagement, and determines new ways to lead market in social conversations.
  • Fully understands the hotel amenities, packages, and promotions.
  • Is an expert in the market and understands how to differentiate the brand in the market.
  • Monitors all digital assets (website, online listings, review sites, and social media channels).
  • Works with vendors on SEM/SEO strategy and monitoring.
  • Coordinates response to reviews or messages with expediency.
  • Oversees website presence and relevance of information, ensuring all information is accurate, compelling, and resonates with the target audience.
  • Provides regular performance reports and analytics.
  • Conducts and distributes weekly sales reports for competitors.
  • Develops content calendars that align with strategy and contribute towards established goals.
  • Provides exceptional customer service as a representative of the hotel when engaging with guests.
  • Supports Sales Department to identify new contacts, develops sales leads, and responds to sales opportunities to maximize revenue.
  • Records appointments, follow-up meetings, and effectively tracks business leads.
  • Arranges and completes site visits for future wedding and group clients.
  • Regularly monitors client satisfaction.
  • Completes other tasks and duties as assigned based on business needs.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Sales, or related field preferred.
  • Experience with multiple social media platforms and hospitality setting preferred.
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented, with strong organizational, problem-solving, and administrative skills.
  • Willing to learn and be open to suggestions/ideas to improve productivity and efficiency.
  • Committed to providing superior work product.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills; ability to communicate effectively with community tenants, vendors/external parties, and across corporate divisions.
  • Ability to exercise judgment and suggest creative approaches to new issues.
  • Possesses initiative and thrives in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Is team-oriented and flexible in assuming new responsibilities as they arise.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional office environment.

This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

Exposed to ambient room temperatures, lighting, and traditional office equipment found in a typical office environment; quiet to moderate noise level.

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to sit or stand at a desk or other areas of the property throughout the day based on business needs.
  • Must have the ability to move around freely throughout the property and office, and necessity varies from day to day.
  • Must be able to exert well-paced ability to reach other departments of the hotel in a timely manner.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25-30 lbs. occasionally.
  • Requires grasping, writing, sitting or standing, moving about freely, repetitive motions, bending, and communicating effectively.
