Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team at MultiCare Health System. As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of laboratory test results.

Responsibilities
  • Receive and process patient specimens for testing
  • Determine the suitability of specimens for testing and reject any that are unsuitable
  • Acquire and prepare reagents as needed for testing
  • Perform instrument maintenance and calibration to ensure accurate test results
Requirements
  • Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related field
  • Current certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or registry eligibility
  • Minimum one year of previous laboratory experience preferred
