Microsoft is seeking a highly skilled Datacenter Engineering Senior Site Due Diligence Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Datacenter Engineering team, you will be responsible for managing the engineering scope, schedule, and budget for greenfield and brownfield sites with a focus on site due diligence and site selection.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of Design Managers and oversee external architects, engineers, and designers to deliver projects aligned with the defined scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Have effective communication, organization, and leadership skills to work with other technical and non-technical groups in a fast-paced environment.
  • Possess a high level of proficiency in commercial and industrial architecture and engineering with a primary focus on datacenter design.
  • Ability to work with other technical and non-technical groups in a fast-paced environment and do so with an even temperament.
  • Ability to be a person of integrity, be methodical, detailed-oriented with a work ethic.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree and 6+ years' experience in engineering, construction engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development.
  • 3+ years' experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
  • 4+ years of experience in people management.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, or construction engineering and 10+ years' experience in engineering, architecture, or construction engineering.
  • 8+ years Project Manager with experience leading site due diligence/feasibility technical reviews with multiple stakeholders for Data Center or technical projects.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer or Architect.

  • Competitive salary range: $137,600 - $267,000 per year.
