Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Due Diligence and Closing Coordinator to join our team at ECI Group. As a key member of our acquisitions and development team, you will be responsible for coordinating the due diligence and closing process for acquisition and development deals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and distribute acquisition pipeline reports on a weekly basis
  • Download offering memorandums and supporting information into our electronic filing system
  • Prepare and submit letters of intent (LOIs)
  • Research market data, sales comps, rent comps, real estate tax information, demographic information, and other property-specific information and market data
  • Request, track, and file due diligence information in our electronic filing system
  • Coordinate internal and external property inspections and 3rd party consultants related to Phase I environmental site assessments (ECAs), property conditions assessments (PCAs), ALTA surveys, zoning assessments, termite reports, insurance coverage, real estate taxes, title insurance, etc.
  • Coordinate the closing process, including interface with lenders, attorneys, equity partners, 3rd party consultants, and management and asset management groups within ECI Group
  • Provide analytical and other support to the acquisition and development groups on an as needed basis
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, real estate, finance, or related field
  • Minimum of 2-3 years relevant experience in commercial real estate, property management, or similar industry
  • Experienced user of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Exceptional professional verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent analytical, written, and oral communication skills
  • Strong organizational, data collection, validation, and auditing skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks and ensure deadlines for deliverables are met
