Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Executive Chef in menu creation, training, ordering, scheduling, and cost control
  • Prepare meals using provided recipes, following menu requirements
  • Work the serving line to ensure food quality and proper timing during service hours
  • Expedite food from the hot line to ensure it is properly prepared, garnished, and delivered to the correct location
  • Follow all health department guidelines, safety practices, and infection control procedures
  • Understand emergency response procedures
  • Ensure all foods are pulled and dated, and stored properly
  • Break down and clean the kitchen as scheduled or requested
  • Clean and sanitize areas at all times
  • Assist in routine and preventative maintenance of equipment and property
  • Secure and lock all walk-in storage and back door entries
