Electronics Test Technician

Job Summary:

The RF Test Technician will be responsible for the tuning, testing, and troubleshooting of RF/Microwave amplifiers in a clean room environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform tuning, testing, and troubleshooting of RF/Microwave amplifiers to meet required specifications.
  • Understand and apply basic RF and DC testing principles to support production hardware, including frequency, gain, gain flatness, noise figure, return loss, P1dB compression, second and third order intercept points, and DC current.
  • Operate and understand standard test equipment, including network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, scalar analyzers, noise figure analyzers, oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and power meters.
  • Work in a manufacturing environment and meet targets and goals.
  • Understand and follow all safety requirements and ISO procedures.

Requirements:

  • Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one.
  • Good dexterity and ability to work under a microscope for extended periods.
  • Ability to analyze and document results for items tuned and/or tested.
  • Understanding of and ability to work from verbal instructions, test specs, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
