Electronics Testing Technician

Adecco US, Inc. is seeking skilled individuals for the role of Test Operator. In this position, you will conduct thorough evaluations and inspections on electronic and mechanical products to ensure compliance with established quality standards and specifications.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Testing Procedures: Execute functional, electrical, and mechanical tests on products utilizing specialized testing instruments and tools.
- Equipment Setup: Prepare testing apparatus, calibrate devices, and ensure adherence to technical specifications and protocols throughout the testing process.
- Data Management: Collect and analyze test data, interpret findings, and document any irregularities or discrepancies identified during evaluations.
- Issue Resolution: Detect and troubleshoot defects or issues in products during testing, collaborating closely with engineering and quality assurance teams to address concerns.
- Quality Control: Guarantee that all tests are performed accurately and that products fulfill quality criteria prior to release. Follow established quality control protocols.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and operational efficiency of testing equipment. Perform regular maintenance and keep detailed records of equipment servicing.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Preferred technical training or certification in electronics, mechanical testing, or a related discipline.
- Prior experience as a test operator in manufacturing, electronics, or a comparable field is essential.
- Experience with PCBA is mandatory.
- Shift: Swing
- Compensation: $23 - $27.50 per hour
Required Skills:
- Technical Proficiency: Ability to operate testing equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, or automated testing systems.
- Detail Orientation: Strong attention to detail to meticulously follow testing protocols, accurately record data, and identify minor product defects.
- Analytical Thinking: Competence in troubleshooting and resolving technical challenges encountered during testing.
- Effective Communication: Ability to clearly report test outcomes, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and document procedures effectively.
- Collaborative Spirit: Capability to work efficiently as part of a team to meet production and quality objectives.
Compensation Details: $23.00 to $27.50 per hour
