Role Overview
The Practice Manager will lead the General Surgery and Bariatrics departments, which consist of a team of nine providers and twelve support staff members. This position is pivotal in ensuring efficient operations and high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor office support personnel to optimize patient flow and serve as a key liaison between medical professionals and clinical staff.
- Oversee all aspects of business and clinic operations at the designated site, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Manage the authorization process for all services, ensuring accurate charge entry and maximizing reimbursement opportunities.
- Participate in the recruitment and training of staff, fostering an environment of continuous learning and performance improvement.
- Develop and implement initiatives aimed at enhancing physician education, process efficiency, and patient satisfaction.
- Analyze monthly performance reports and recommend strategies for revenue cycle enhancements.
- Address and resolve patient concerns in collaboration with medical staff, ensuring a positive patient experience.
- Organize and lead regular staff meetings to promote communication and teamwork.
- Provide operational support as needed, including clinical skill validation within the practice.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- A Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
