GPAC, a leading recruitment company, is partnering with a well-established commercial construction firm to find an experienced Superintendent. Our client specializes in tenant improvement and ground-up construction projects, offering a dynamic and successful work environment.

As a Superintendent, you will oversee and manage diverse commercial projects, including industrial, warehouse, office, and private developments. Your leadership and expertise will contribute to the success and completion of high-quality construction projects.

  • Coordinate and manage all onsite construction activities for assigned projects.
  • Oversee subcontractors, ensuring they adhere to project schedules and meet quality standards.
  • Monitor project progress, schedule, and budget while addressing any potential issues or delays.
  • Maintain a safe working environment and ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed.
  • Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and direct construction activities, ensuring the project is completed within budget, on schedule, and according to the highest quality standards.
  • Conduct regular site visits to inspect work progress, identify any deviations from plans, and resolve construction-related issues.
  • Manage and document project documentation, including daily reports, site inspections, and change orders.
  • Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to establish and maintain excellent working relationships.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices, construction trends, and safety regulations to ensure compliance and enhance project outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Strong leadership and organizational abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with project teams and stakeholders.
  • Extensive knowledge of commercial construction methods, materials, and practices.
  • Proficient in construction software and technology, including Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to address unforeseen challenges and resolve conflicts effectively.
