For this travel nursing job, we require a Bachelor's degree in nursing, healthcare management, or a related healthcare field. A minimum of three years of clinical experience, preferably in hospital-based case management, is also necessary. Additionally, the ideal candidate should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
Certifications and Licenses:
- Full License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan
- Certification in Case Management (CCM) by the Commission for Case Management Certification (CCMC) preferred
Mandatory Requirements:
- Epic and Careport experience
- Current acute care case management leadership experience (2 years minimum required)
- Inpatient hospital case management experience
- Discharge planning and utilization management experience
- Case management experience, no time to train on the basics
