Job Summary

The Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting and maintaining the organization's HRIS applications and modules. This position requires a subject matter expert who can ensure the optimal function of Human Resources systems, including installation, customization, development, maintenance, testing, and upgrade to applications, systems, and modules.

Key Responsibilities
  • HRIS System Administration: Serve as the primary point of contact for HRIS users and administrators, providing technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance as needed.
  • System Maintenance: Maintain the integrity and security of HRIS systems, ensuring compliance with data security and privacy requirements.
  • Custom Function Development: Program custom functions and documentation, such as automated queries, filters, macros, and reports, to meet the needs of HRIS users.
  • System Integration: Manage the integration of HRIS systems with other enterprise systems, ensuring seamless data exchange and minimizing disruptions.
  • Training and Development: Educate and coach members of the HRIS team, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively use HRIS systems.
  • Staying Current: Maintain knowledge of trends and developments in HRIS providers, vendors, and technology, identifying opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least five years of related experience, with at least one year in a supervisory position.
  • Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal and technical support skills, excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with human resource policies and procedures, Kronos Workforce Ready experience, and SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification.
