Job Summary:

The Human Resources Manager at PrimeCare Community Health is responsible for managing all Human Resources systems, handling employee relations, supporting and recommending DEI initiatives, ensuring compliance, managing daily HR Department tasks and staffing, assessing organizational staffing needs, and overseeing the new hire process.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Review and make recommendations for the improvement of human resources policies, procedures, and practices
Cultivate a supportive and inclusive work environment for all employees
Ensure organizational compliance with Federal, State, County, and City legislation
Audit personnel records of employees and changes to the payroll system
Coordinate and manage the annual performance review process
Provide presentations and training to management staff
Develop recruitment and retention plans for all levels of staff

Required Skills or Abilities:

Establish strong working relationships with all staff and communicate effectively
Maintain appropriate professional boundaries with all staff, trainees, and patients at all times
Demonstrate respect and sensitivity for cultural diversity, gender differences, and sexual orientation of patients and coworkers
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)

Qualifications, Knowledge, Experience, or Licensure:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or another related field required, with a Master's degree in Human Resources or a related field strongly preferred
Minimum 5-7 years of Human Resources experience required
Prior Human Resources Management experience required, with a preference for 3 years or more as Human Resources Manager
Strong desire for 3-5 years of experience within a healthcare environment, preferably in primary care, especially the FQHC environment
Prior experience with HRIS required and demonstrated ability to implement processes that reduce redundancies
Bilingual English/Spanish encouraged

Salary:

All wages are based on relevant years of experience. The minimum rate is the wage that a Human Resources Manager without any prior experience HR Management experience would earn.
