Job Overview

The Automotive Service Center Supervisor plays a crucial role in steering the daily operations of the store while fostering a culture of excellence among team members. This position is integral to our mission of establishing ourselves as a trusted leader in the automotive service industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Development: Cultivate and mentor sales and technical staff to ensure a consistently exceptional guest experience.
  • Sales Achievement: Drive sales performance by collaborating on the creation and execution of strategic sales initiatives, leveraging comprehensive knowledge of our services and the automotive market.
  • Product Promotion: Introduce and promote tire and service offerings to enhance sales and build lasting guest loyalty.
  • Operational Support: Assist team members in creating a productive sales atmosphere through effective training and development on shop operations and customer service.
  • Staff Management: Oversee the recruitment, hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation of team members to ensure optimal staffing levels.
  • Expense Management: Monitor and control expenses related to payroll, utilities, and store maintenance to maintain profitability.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other responsibilities as assigned to support the overall success of the store.
Management Scope:

This role provides daily leadership to all store positions, including technicians and service managers, operating under the guidance of upper management.

Compensation:

Annual salary range: $50,000 - $70,000

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-4 years of proven leadership experience in a retail or sales environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive financial results while managing costs effectively.
  • Strong influence and motivational skills to achieve team objectives.
Skills Required:
  • Customer-focused mindset with extensive experience in service-oriented environments.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate technical issues clearly.
  • Business acumen with a strong drive to exceed performance goals.
  • Basic mathematical skills for calculating discounts, commissions, and other financial figures.

Work Environment:

This position operates within an automotive service center, with exposure to various environmental factors including noise, weather conditions, and chemicals.

Physical Requirements:
  • Must possess a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. without assistance.
  • Frequent standing and walking for extended periods.
  • Regular physical activities including bending, squatting, and reaching.
