Job Overview

The Automotive Service Center Supervisor is tasked with delivering daily leadership and guidance to the store and its personnel. This role is pivotal in aligning with the vision of becoming a trusted leader in the automotive and tire service industry, recognized for providing exceptional maintenance and repair services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Foster the development of sales and technical staff to ensure a consistently outstanding customer experience.
  • Achieve sales objectives by contributing to the formulation and execution of sales strategies, along with a comprehensive understanding of products and services within the automotive sector.
  • Promote tire and service offerings to customers to enhance sales, satisfaction, and loyalty.
  • Assist team members in creating and sustaining a productive sales atmosphere through training and development on all operational and customer service aspects.
  • Oversee staffing needs by managing recruitment, onboarding, training, scheduling, performance evaluations, and the growth of team members.
  • Control expenses by managing payroll, communication costs, store upkeep, supplies, utilities, and other controllable expenditures.
  • Perform additional tasks as required.
Management Duties:

This position provides daily leadership to all roles within the store, including General Service Technicians, Technicians, Technical Service Manager, Service Manager, and Assistant Store Manager, under the general supervision of the District Manager.

Compensation:

Annual salary range: $50,000 - $70,000

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-4 years of proven leadership experience in a retail or sales environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and drive financial outcomes while maintaining cost controls.
  • Proficient in motivating and influencing a team to meet established goals.
Skills & Knowledge:
  • Customer and team-oriented mindset with extensive experience in customer-focused environments.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying technical information and drafting routine reports.
  • Business-oriented mentality with a commitment to surpassing set objectives.
  • Basic mathematical skills for calculating discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages.
  • Proactive approach with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
  • Capability to identify issues, gather data, and establish facts to make informed decisions.
  • Effective mentoring, coaching, and development skills for team members.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

This role operates within an automotive service environment, which may involve exposure to moderate noise levels, varying weather conditions, chemicals, and dust.

Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).

Flexibility to work varied hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays is essential.

Physical ability to lift, carry, and stock merchandise and supplies up to 50 lbs. without assistance.

Frequent standing and walking for extended periods, along with regular bending, stooping, kneeling, and twisting.
