Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to lead our sales team at Venture Smarter. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute sales plans and programs to achieve sales objectives and revenue targets
  • Manage and oversee the daily activities and performance of the sales team, providing guidance, support, and direction
  • Recruit, train, and develop sales representatives, evaluating their skills and competencies
  • Conduct regular sales meetings, reviews, and reports, analyzing sales data and metrics to identify areas of improvement and opportunity
  • Establish and maintain positive and long-lasting relationships with customers, understanding their needs and expectations
  • Negotiate contracts and deals with customers, resolving any issues or complaints
  • Collaborate with other departments and teams, such as marketing, product, and customer service, to ensure alignment and coordination of sales activities and initiatives
  • Stay updated on the latest market trends, industry developments, and competitive intelligence, adjusting sales strategies accordingly
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field; master's degree or certification preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in a tech or consulting industry
  • Proven track record of achieving sales goals and revenue targets, leading and managing sales teams
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers and stakeholders
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and motivational skills, with the ability to inspire and empower sales representatives
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software, such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Zendesk
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and innovative environment, adapting to changing needs and expectations
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and customer orientation, with a results-driven and growth-oriented mindset
