We are seeking a skilled Chemical Laboratory Specialist to join our team at Edw. C. Levy. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for conducting chemical and physical tests on various materials, including iron and steel slags, agricultural products, cements, and fertilizers.
Your primary duties will include:
- Preparing samples for analysis and ensuring accurate labeling and documentation
- Conducting chemical and physical tests to determine material properties
- Setting up and calibrating laboratory equipment and instrumentation
- Entering test data into computer systems and maintaining detailed records
- Analyzing and interpreting test data to ensure quality monitoring
- Generating routine reports and communicating findings to the Supervisor
To be successful in this role, you will need a strong background in chemical technology or applied sciences, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work with hazardous chemicals.
