Magnet Medical is a leading healthcare provider seeking a skilled Critical Care Specialist for a 13-week assignment in Kent, Washington. As a Critical Care Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting.

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Critical Care Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing, with experience working in PCU settings. Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care using the nursing process and facility-specific job descriptions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Monitor patients' conditions and adjust care plans as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited RN program.
- Previous work experience as a RN in a PCU setting.
- Current, unrestricted RN license in the state.
- Frequent lifting, bending, and reaching.
- Lifting up to 80 pounds (using proper techniques).
- Standing and walking for extended periods (up to 5 hours at a time).
- Potential exposure to chemicals, radiation, infectious diseases/waste, and blood-borne pathogens.
Work Environment
The PCU setting offers a dynamic and challenging work environment. As a Critical Care Specialist, you will be working in a fast-paced setting with a high level of patient acuity. You will be expected to prioritize tasks, manage multiple patients, and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
Compensation and Benefits
