Job Summary:

This is an entry-level position that offers a unique opportunity to develop skills in data management, analysis, and interpretation, while working collaboratively with internal stakeholders to drive business results.

The successful candidate will work closely with vendors to develop and maintain data feeds integral to supporting Foodbuy's information needs.

This process involves the accurate capture and processing of customer purchase transactions, as well as the generation of manufacturer invoices, customer volume allowances, and compliance audits to ensure maximum revenue and savings for our clients.


Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate onboarding activities around implementation and receipt of accurate standardized data from trading partners to support various information needs and processes
  • Manage automated file loads as well as load some manual data files into our Supply Chain system
  • Test and analyze trading partner data to identify gaps in format or content
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of information received from trading partners through analysis and troubleshooting
  • Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of Foodbuy information needs
  • Ownership impactful business partners
  • Resolve customer challenges related to data
  • Build and maintain good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve complete & accurate data
  • Maintain adherence to contract standards and a basic understanding of those terms
  • Link external data to master data
  • Resolve customer challenges related to data
  • Other duties as required

Qualifications:

We are seeking an entry-level candidate with strong analytical skills, effective communication skills, and a keen eye for detail.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is required.

Experience in distribution, foodservice, or master data management is preferred.

Candidates should have a collaborative mindset and be able to work well as a member of a team.

Flexibility and adaptability to change are also key qualities for this role.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and demonstrate innovative thinking is required.

A high level of integrity and ethics is expected from all candidates.

Prior experience with contractual terms and knowledge of MS Office Suite are preferred.

Power BI and/or SQL knowledge may also be beneficial.

Financial or trend analysis experience is a plus.

Occasional travel to corporate offices in Charlotte, NC, or Atlanta, GA, may be required for this role.


Benefits:

As a valued member of our team, you will be offered a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on your qualifications and experience.
