HVAC Service Technician

Lane Valente Industries is a leading international construction and facility maintenance company with a strong presence in the U.S. and Canada.
We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our team of field technicians who provide top-notch service to national accounts.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC maintenance and repair, with excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities include:
- Servicing HVAC products and equipment on assigned projects to ensure customer satisfaction
- Using a variety of hand tools to diagnose and repair units, following blueprints or engineering specifications
- Identifying, analyzing, diagnosing, and repairing systems and products at customer locations
- Performing preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacement, and modifications as needed or requested by customers
- Preparing for on-site installation and repairs by examining building layout, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials, and coordinating on-site work
- Inspecting vehicles by checking vehicle condition and cleanliness
- Maintaining vehicles by keeping records of service, scheduling, and complete repairs and maintenance service
- Maintaining equipment by inspecting for signs of wear and notifying customers and/or Operations Manager of findings
- Documenting work by completing paperwork on each job and maintaining files
- Representing the company by serving as a direct customer contact
- Determining parts to order for repairs and timeliness of need
- Documenting work by completing paperwork on each job, including daily time, progress, and duration, and maintaining files
- Recording parts, material, labor, subs, and other cost data per assignment and returning unused resources
- Turning in all required paperwork and reports in a timely manner
- Keeping current on all products concerning installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair
- Reading and interpreting product specifications
- Providing technical support to customers
- Flexibility to work overtime/weekends as necessary
- Regular travel requirements with some overnight travel, as needed
