Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our team at Prairie Lakes Healthcare System. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct and indirect patient care services as delegated by primary care physicians.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality patient care services, utilizing the nursing process to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Assist with cleaning and restocking patient treatment areas, promoting a safe and clean environment for patients.
  • Transport patients and report information to medical providers, facilitating seamless communication and care coordination.
  • Administer medications and perform technical skills within the scope of practice, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Coordinate discharge instructions and follow-up care, ensuring patients receive comprehensive support throughout their healthcare journey.
  • Process insurance prior authorizations and other duties as assigned, leveraging your expertise to optimize patient care and outcomes.

Requirements:
