The Medical Equipment Clinician II plays a critical role in directing clinical planning, application, and follow-up of medical equipment and supplies for individuals. This position involves providing clinical services to patients in their homes, completing patient records, conducting home visits, and coordinating care with other healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct clinical planning, application, and follow-up of medical equipment and supplies
  • Provide clinical services to patients in their homes
  • Complete patient records and conduct home visits
  • Coordinate care with other healthcare providers

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; one to two years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • Licensure/Certification/Registration: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Licensure in the State of South Dakota is required
  • Licensure in Iowa, Nebraska, and Minnesota is required within 90 days of hire
  • Registration with the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) if a Registered Respiratory Therapist
  • This Position requires a valid driver's license and that the employee is insurable by the Avera Health automobile liability insurance carrier

Work Schedule: 8:30am-5:00pm, 80hrs/2wks, On-call rotation every 3rd weekend and holiday

Compensation: The hourly range for this position is $24.75 - $37.00 per hour, dependent upon experience.
