Position Overview:
The Senior Structures Program Leader is accountable for achieving all project goals for designated assignments, including scope, timeline, and financial parameters. U.S. Residency Required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee schedules, budgets, accounts receivable, and staffing needs while preparing invoices.
- Develop Project Management Plans for assigned initiatives.
- Conduct design calculations.
- Establish project pricing and financial plans.
- Create and maintain project timelines.
- Formulate and uphold project-specific quality plans.
- Define and coordinate project scope.
- Manage subconsultants effectively.
- Engage in client presentations.
- Supervise and guide assigned personnel working on projects.
- Oversee all technical resources within the project team.
- Prepare requests for additional work orders and proposals for open-end contracts.
- Collaborate with Section Heads, Office Managers, and Practice Leaders on marketing proposals.
- Design projects in alignment with client specifications and guidelines, utilizing design software and drafting tools.
- Lead and mentor team members, providing guidance and ongoing performance management to foster growth and development.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Perform other related tasks as assigned.
- Work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an ABET accredited engineering program.
- Ohio Professional Engineer License.
- 10+ years of experience in structures or bridge discipline.
- Proficient in standard office software such as Microsoft Office and Outlook.
- Familiarity with AASHTO Bridge Design Specifications and ODOT standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CAPM or PMP certification.
- Master's degree in civil engineering.
- Bridge Level 1 certification.
- Experience with Open Bridge Modeler.
- Familiarity with structural analysis software (e.g., CSiBridge, Midas, etc.).
- Experience collaborating with local clients at the county and state level.
- Project management and business development experience.
- Experience with various project delivery methods such as Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, and P3.
- Experience managing multi-discipline project teams.
- Bridge inspector certification.
Work Environment:

We offer a range of flexible work arrangements. The work is primarily sedentary, but may occasionally require standing and walking. The office environment is adequately lit and temperature-controlled, with no hazardous or unpleasant conditions due to noise, dust, etc.
Fieldwork may be necessary occasionally, which could involve working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Some lifting (up to 25 lbs) may be required as necessary.
