Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Clinical Service Coordinator to join our team at the Tulsa Health Department. As a key member of our Preventive Health program, you will be responsible for providing exceptional clerical support to our staff and clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide telephone and face-to-face reception services, scheduling appointments, and collecting fees.
  • Enter demographic, insurance, financial, and PAR information into our PHOCIS/OSIIS systems.
  • Verify client insurance eligibility and OHCA eligibility for patients.
  • Prepare client records, process clients and records through clinics, and maintain client records.
  • Collect money, issue receipts, and follow accounting procedures.
  • Prepare client and vendor billing statements and gather statistical data.
  • Provide copies of immunization records according to THD and HIPAA requirements.
  • Retrieve files, sort, and organize material in files, and maintain chart room records.
  • Order and maintain supplies required to complete job tasks.
  • Travel to other clinic sites to provide services as needed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • One to three years of clerical or related experience required; one to three years of related clerical experience in medical office preferred.
  • Good interpersonal and customer service skills essential.
  • Data entry skills of 25-30 WPM required.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word and MS Office applications required.
  • Knowledge of proper English language usage, spelling, punctuation, and grammar required.
