Patient Services Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Services Coordinator to join our team at the University of Oklahoma. As a key member of our clinical operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating patient schedules, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring the smooth operation of our outpatient clinic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule patient appointments and coordinate schedules as directed.
- Provide clerical assistance, including preparing and entering healthcare providers' schedules into the computer.
- Answer telephone calls and distribute to the appropriate personnel.
- Prepare and enter patient demographics, insurance information, and other relevant data into our system.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure accurate and timely scheduling.
- Provide language interpretation and translation services to patients and their families and healthcare professionals.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED.
- 12 months experience in a customer service role.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
- Ability to resolve problems in a timely manner.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
