Job Title: Child Care Lead Teacher

Job Summary:

BrightPath Early Learning & Child Care is seeking a qualified Child Care Lead Teacher to join our team. As a Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment for children, developing and implementing curriculum, and collaborating with families to provide exceptional care and education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safety and supervision of children in assigned classrooms
  • Develop and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum according to NAEYC standards
  • Curate programs and activities based on children's interests and learning styles
  • Maintain a clean and organized environment that promotes children's growth and exploration
  • Partner with families to create plans for their child's care and education
  • Communicate effectively with parents/guardians about their child's progress

Requirements:

  • Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field, or Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, or Head Teacher certification, or 12 credits in Early Childhood Education courses, or Bachelor's Degree required
  • 2+ years of experience in a licensed child care facility preferred
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to multitask and remain organized
  • Ability to work within regular operating hours and meet state criteria for child care employment
