Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Early Childhood Clinician to join our team at Wheeler Clinic. As a key member of our Child First program, you will work with children and their caregivers in their homes, providing intensive, trauma-informed care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide home-based integrated prevention and intervention services to children and their families using trauma-informed, relationally based parent-child psychotherapy and other modalities.
  • Maintain knowledge of early childhood development, disability, emotional/behavioral health, and family dynamics.
  • Conduct program-specific screening and evaluation, and formulate diagnoses in accordance with the Diagnostic Statistical Manual (DSM).
  • Develop and document clear, clinical formulations and treatment plans that are individualized and measurable, and developed in collaboration with the client/family, and others as relevant.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, or related license-eligible field.
  • 3 years of experience working in a therapeutic capacity with young children, including ages birth to five, and their families.
  • Licensed or license-eligible in LCSW, LMSW, LMFT, LMFTA, LPC, LPCA, or licensed or license-eligible psychologist.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary of $60,000.
  • A $5,000 sign-on bonus, half paid at start and half paid at one year of service.
  • Bilingual Clinicians receive an additional $4,160 per year.
  • A comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 403(b) plan, and education reimbursement program.
