Developmental Disabilities Specialist

Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement individualized support plans that cater to the unique needs and goals of each individual.
- Conduct thorough assessments and observations to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies for growth.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless coordination of services and achieve optimal outcomes.
- Provide training and support to staff members to enhance their skills and confidence in delivering high-quality care.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards, maintaining the highest level of professionalism and integrity.
- Bachelor's degree in a human services field, such as psychology, social work, or special education.
- At least two years of experience in a related field, with a focus on behavioral support and community-based services.
- Training in behavior modification techniques and/or experience providing behavior management treatment.
- Knowledge of specialized populations, including individuals with developmental disabilities, brain injuries, or mental health conditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals, families, and teams.
