About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Developmental Disabilities Specialist to join our team at Sevita. As a key member of our mission-driven organization, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans to promote independence and quality of life for our clients.
  • Conduct assessments and observations to identify areas of need and develop strategies for improvement.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless delivery of services and achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Provide training and support to staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge in behavioral support and disability services.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards in all aspects of service delivery.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a human services field, such as psychology, social work, or special education.
  • At least two years of experience in a related field, with a focus on developmental disabilities or behavioral support.
  • Knowledge of behavior modification techniques and experience in providing behavior management treatment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals, families, and teams.
