Job Title: Kentucky Wing Bookkeeper (Part-time)

Compensation: $22.50 per hour

Responsibilities:

The Kentucky Wing Bookkeeper plays a crucial role in supporting the Wing Commander by managing financial and personnel records, ensuring compliance with organizational and governmental standards.

Key Qualifications:

  • A minimum of two years of verifiable experience in an administrative role, showcasing attention to detail in document preparation and meeting deadlines while managing multiple priorities.
  • At least three years of verifiable experience in bookkeeping is essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel, is required.
  • Strong written communication skills, with the ability to produce non-technical correspondence accurately.
  • Familiarity with administrative procedures related to record-keeping is necessary.
  • Experience with office equipment, including copiers and fax machines, is expected.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, including tact and diplomacy, are essential.
  • Willingness to work occasional short-notice overtime is required.
  • Knowledge of Civil Air Patrol is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Ability to adapt correspondence to align with standard Air Force guidelines is desired.
  • An Associate's Degree is preferred.
