Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Area Manager to join our team at Walmart. As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our logistics and supply chain functions, ensuring that our facilities are running efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the management of logistics and supply chain functions, including transportation, inventory control, and distribution.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Lead and manage a team of logistics and supply chain professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure successful execution of business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements and best practices.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational performance and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in logistics or supply chain management.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in leading cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
