The Commercial Loan Operations Specialist is a key role within our bank, responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of commercial loans. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and excellent communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities- Onboard new commercial loans, including modifications, participation sales, and purchases, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
- Perform quality control functions on new loans and loan modifications, monitoring data integrity and ensuring compliance with bank policies and procedures.
- Provide commercial loan funding transfers in accordance with established bank policies and procedures.
- Offer exceptional customer service to internal and external customers, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain knowledge of all existing regulations pertaining to loan servicing, staying up-to-date on changes and updates.
- Collaborate with the lending team to track document exceptions and missing documentation, ensuring timely resolution and compliance.
- Reconcile GL accounts and maintain electronic loan documentation files, scanning and indexing into the electronic file system.
- 3+ years of experience in the lending area of a bank.
- Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in computers and ability to work independently and within a team environment.
