Scientific Applications Specialist

EHR Services LLC is seeking a highly skilled Scientific Applications Specialist to join their team in Woburn, MA. As a key member of the Solutions Omics Group at Covaris, you will play a pivotal role in the development and optimization of cutting-edge solutions for the life sciences and biotechnology industries.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, execute, and analyze experiments to prove the feasibility of new ideas and concepts.
- Own prototype testing and optimization in product development and commercialization efforts.
- Generate highly reproducible data, analyze results, and present conclusions in verification and validation reports.
- Lead customer communications and training activities for Covaris proteomics solutions.
- Collaborate with the global sales team to support sales efforts and customer site visits.
- M.Sc. in Physical-chemistry, Analytical Sciences, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, or related fields.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in sample preparation.
- Critical thinking skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks and timelines.
- Application and Technical Sales Support experience, including product/protocol development.
- Understanding of applied statistics and familiarity with design of experiments.
This is a predominately on-site position with the ability to travel around 30%.
