Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the SHE team in conducting regular inspections and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements that enhance safety and environmental performance.
  • Investigate and report on incidents and near-misses, and develop corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Develop and maintain training programs to ensure employees have the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their jobs safely and effectively.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to employees on safety and environmental procedures and protocols.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. environmental science, safety engineering, industrial hygiene).
  • 5+ years of experience in safety, health, and environmental management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Professional certification in safety (e.g. CSP, CIH) or environmental management (e.g. CEM, CEP).
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to analyze data and develop recommendations for process improvements.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to safety, health, and environmental management.
