Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Utility Foreman to manage the day-to-day utility operations of our construction projects. The successful candidate will have a strong background in storm, water, and sewer utilities, with a proven track record of managing people, equipment, and materials in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise various phases of a utility operation, including the installation of storm drainage, water, and sewer utilities.
  • Read and interpret plans, and have a general knowledge of dig law, sloping, and safe excavation practices.
  • Implement environmental, health, and safety regulations and policies, and arrange for maintenance and repair of equipment.
  • Plan, organize, and coordinate daily activities and work assignments for your team.
  • Maintain daily records of all significant project facts, events, and conditions.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in storm, water, and/or sewer utilities.
  • 1-2 years of foreman experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage people, equipment, and materials in a safe, efficient, and ethical manner.
  • Knowledge of traffic control standards and excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to operate equipment such as excavators, loaders, and rollers.
Physical Demands

The physical demands of this job include climbing, standing, walking, and using arms, hands, and feet in repetitive motions. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and have excellent hearing and vision.

Work Environment

The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with exposure to moving mechanical parts, outside weather conditions, and vibration. The employee must be able to work safely and follow company policies and procedures.
