Global Supply Chain Planner

Celestica is seeking a skilled Global Supply Chain Planner to join our team. As a key member of our supply chain organization, you will be responsible for analyzing customer forecasts, providing analysis to sites, and participating in the development of global planning toolsets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze customer forecasts using available tools and models to challenge or confirm.
- Provide analysis to sites as input to site material and capacity planning.
- Interlock with Global unit management to close demand plan to be used by each site.
- Participate in the development of global planning toolsets, specifically advanced planning and scheduling systems.
- Utilize advanced planning toolsets and knowledge of customer contracts to support forecasting activities.
Requirements:
- Broad knowledge of electronic manufacturing environments, materials, and processes.
- Knowledge of Celestica's global supply chain, including strategies and objectives.
- Strong knowledge of IT concepts and systems.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem resolution skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
Working Conditions:
Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment. Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.
Education and Experience:
Typical experience: 2-4 years of Global Planning experience. Typical education: Bachelor's degree in a related field or APICS certification is a bonus.
