Material Program Manager

Raytheon is seeking a highly skilled Material Program Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Supply Chain organization, you will be responsible for developing and executing material program plans, subcontract management plans, and risk/opportunity plans to meet program objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute material program plans, subcontract management plans, and risk/opportunity plans to meet program objectives.
- Execute make/buy/where process and balance strategic thinking with tactical application of strategies to programs.
- Work closely with Engineering, Quality, and Operations to create common schedules based on Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
- Collaborate with supply chain functions for support as needed and monitor performance metrics to proactively address program and functional issues.
- Support all gate reviews and activity, EAC reviews, program reviews, and risk and opportunity management reviews.
- Oversight of subcontractor execution performance and proactive risk and opportunity management.
Requirements:
- Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of eight (8) years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of five (5) years' experience.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Raytheon Supply Chain/MPM experience (including Raytheon MPM Certification)
- Outstanding written, verbal communication, strong presentation, and organizational skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to understand financial information, budgets, and program performance and develop strategies to improve performance in these areas.
- Advanced degree in business management, finance, or supply chain
- Secret clearance or ability to obtain within 1 year.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project)
- Experience working in the DoD Aerospace & Defense industry and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
- Experience with Supply Chain processes and related systems.
- Program and/or functional experience managing material (SCM, Engineering Program/Integrated Program Team (IPT), Operations)

SkillBridge Eligibility Overview:
To be eligible for this SkillBridge Fellowship, you must meet the following requirements:
Must be eligible to participate in Fellowship per DoD Instruction 1322.29.
Must be projected to receive an honorable discharge from the military.
Must have all TAP and transition requirements completed prior to the start date.
Must receive approval from Unit Commander or O4+ in the chain of command.
Must be located within a commutable distance or willing/approved to relocate to the job location.
