Job Title: Independent Sales Representative-Central Missouri

Stine Seed Company, a leading national seed company, is seeking an experienced Independent Sales Representative to cover Lafayette and Saline counties in Central Missouri. This is an excellent opportunity to grow professionally and financially with a respected corn and soybean seed company.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a thorough agronomic and technical knowledge of Stine seed products and services
  • Manage existing dealer accounts and recruit new dealerships to increase sales
  • Communicate and implement Stine's sales programs and policies within the assigned territory
  • Work in conjunction with the Stine Regional Sales Agronomist to provide sales support
  • Develop and enhance relationships with customers and potential customers
Requirements:
  • Three or more years of ag experience, including previous experience in agronomy, crop production, or seed sales
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of proven sales techniques and excellent negotiating skills
  • Demonstrated success in dealer development and retention
  • Initiative and ability to work with minimum supervision to meet established goals

Preference will be given to candidates with a proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with growers by understanding their needs and values, and achieving desired results.
