Job Title: Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Pioneer Data Systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing local stakeholder relationships, supplier performance, and sourcing and contracting execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with local teams to understand their procurement needs and requirements
  • Support and resolve stakeholders' day-to-day procurement process questions
  • Engage in key internal and external stakeholder discussions
  • Contribute to implementing sourcing strategies that support business objectives
  • Support sourcing strategies that align with company goals and objectives
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in sourcing and procurement
  • Experience in monitoring supplier performance, tracking metrics, quality, and compliance
  • Experience in conducting market research to identify potential suppliers
  • Experience in maintaining accurate procurement records and documentation
  • Experience with contract negotiations
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Basic knowledge of the supplier landscape, including payroll, benefits, recruiting, and staffing
  • Basic knowledge of procurement practices and supplier evaluation methodologies
  • Knowledge of analytical skills and comfort with standard analytical methods and tools
Work Environment:

This is an onsite position that requires the candidate to be local to Kalamazoo, MI.
