Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Attorney to join our team. As a key member of our corporate staff, you will provide day-to-day legal assistance and partner with cross-functional teams to provide legal support in various areas of practice, including employment law, contracts, IP, corporate governance, and marketing.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts, licenses, and other legal documents.
  • Provide legal advice to management and draft necessary documents to protect the company's interests.
  • Review proposed and existing legislation affecting the company and provide legal advice accordingly.
  • Conduct legal research and anticipate and guard against legal risks.
  • Develop and implement policies, practices, and training to ensure compliance with legal requirements.
  • Organize and maintain contracts database.
  • Manage corporate ethics and compliance program.
  • Partner with external counsel and manage relationships.
  • Assist with corporate entity maintenance.
Requirements
  • JD degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active member of the Florida Bar or eligible for admission as authorized In-House Counsel.
  • 4-7 years' experience as Staff or Corporate Attorney.
  • Experience with a broad range of business transactional matters, including counseling, negotiating, and document/contract drafting and review.
  • Experience in general corporate, intellectual property, and/or employment and benefits law.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple functions and organizations.
