We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Mechanic II to join our team at Amentum. As a key member of our deployment pool, you will be responsible for supporting deployments to various locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily launch and recovery duties to ensure the safe and efficient operation of RPA systems.
  • Inspect and repair power plant malfunctions to maintain airworthiness.
  • Service, repair, and overhaul aircraft equipment to meet stringent maintenance standards.
  • Provide technical leadership to lower-level Aircraft Mechanics, promoting a culture of excellence and safety.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision, utilizing your expertise to resolve complex maintenance issues.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum three years of Aircraft Mechanic experience, with a strong background in RPA systems maintenance.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of aircraft maintenance principles and practices.
  • Active Secret US Government Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in a relevant field, with a focus on aircraft maintenance or a related field.
  • Licensed by the FAA as an Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic.
  • RPA Deployment Experience, with a proven track record of success.
  • MQ-9 Aircraft Composite Repair Experience, with a strong understanding of repair techniques and materials.
