RPA AGE Mechanic I/Deployment Pool Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Ground Equipment (AGE) Technician to join our team at Amentum. As an AGE Mechanic I/Deployment Pool Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting deployments to various locations and ensuring the timely and proper performance of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on AGE equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support deployments to various CONUS/OCONUS locations as required.
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on AGE equipment and light support vehicles.
- Inspect, test, and operate AGE to determine equipment serviceability and proper operation.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical circuitry malfunctions.
- Interpret drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical data to facilitate repairs and/or modifications to ground support equipment.
- Identify and order replacement parts as needed.
- Remove, disassemble, repair, clean, treat for corrosion, assemble, and re-install AGE accessories and components.
- Stencil and mark AGE as appropriate.
- Service equipment with fuel, oil, coolant, water, hydraulic fluid, and air as required.
- Operate, clean, inspect, and service AGE tow vehicles.
- Maintain and document AGE equipment and tow vehicle forms.
- Position equipment to support aircraft maintenance and flying operations.
- Schedule PMIs as required.
- Adhere to safety procedures and follow technical orders as applicable.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or relevant military and/or vocational technical school curriculum.
- Minimum of one-year actual AGE maintenance experience.
- Qualified with most basic types and uses of AGE equipment.
- Familiar with diesel engine maintenance and repair, and HVAC maintenance and repair at the basic level.
- Ability to inspect, repair, and operate ground support and auxiliary equipment.
- Ability to lift, carry, and/or wear Military Issued Equipment in excess of 50 pounds for extended periods.
- Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.
- Active Secret US Government Clearance within the last 12 months.
- Current/active State Issued Drivers License.
- Valid U.S. Passport with a minimum of two years remaining with at least two facing pairs (four total) of blank Visa pages.
- Fully COVID-19 vaccinated with booster.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate degree in a relevant career field.
- RPA Deployment experience.
- Prior experience as a Defense Contractor.
- Vehicle Operator Training.
- AGE Mechanic experience within the last 10 years.
