About the Role

Resource Management Concepts, Inc. (RMC) is a leading provider of professional services to government and commercial sectors. We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team as an Information Security Systems Officer (ISSO) to support our NAVAIR customer in a dynamic and challenging environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as an ISSO for a designated NAVAIR program, ensuring the implementation of robust cybersecurity measures to protect sensitive information.
  • Manage day-to-day cybersecurity activities, including vulnerability assessments, system authorization, and risk management.
  • Develop and maintain platform Risk Management Framework (RMF) authorization packages, ensuring compliance with DoD regulations.
  • Prepare and update RMF documentation, including IATTs and Use Case MFRs, to support development and testing.
  • Establish and implement cybersecurity policies in accordance with security control implementations.
  • Perform asset and vulnerability management via VRAM reporting, identifying and mitigating potential security risks.
  • Collaborate with SMEs (System Administrators, Network Admins, Lab Managers, Program Managers, and ISSMs) to perform vulnerability assessments and system authorization activities.
  • Evaluate and report software IAW DITPR/DADMS requirements, ensuring compliance with DoD standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as cybersecurity, computer science, or information assurance, and more than ten (10) years of relevant experience.
  • Senior-level experience working on high-visibility or mission-critical aspects of a given program, performing functional duties independently.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in NAVAIR environments, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Meet the certification and clearance requirements established IAW the DoD Manual 8570-1M, including one of the following certifications: CISM, CISSP (or Associate), or GSLC.
  • Active DoD Secret clearance required, with the ability to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
