Position: Senior Management Analyst
Bowhead is looking for a Senior Management Analyst to support strategic initiatives within the Department of Defense (DoD) and related organizations. This role involves comprehensive research and analysis of current philosophies and strategic goals within the Department of the Navy (DoN) and the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), including the Naval Aviation Enterprise (NAE).
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a senior authority with profound expertise in developing and implementing analytical methodologies.
- Guide the application of analytical techniques while defining project objectives and strategic direction.
- Provide leadership and vision to client and project teams regarding methodologies.
- Address complex challenges requiring extensive knowledge of analytical principles.
- Oversee the work of junior analysts and staff involved in analytical activities.
- Exhibit strong managerial and supervisory capabilities.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. An Associate's degree combined with four years of experience may be considered, or eight years of experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
- A minimum of five years of analytical experience, with at least three years in program management, technical, or business analysis, including three years supporting NAVAIR programs.
- In-depth knowledge of SECNAV, OPNAV, and OSD policies related to military acquisition program management.
- Two years of supervisory experience is mandatory.
- Experience in evaluating existing procedures and systems related to management challenges is advantageous.
- Proficient in supporting senior Navy leadership in strategic planning and documentation.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
- Capability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to twist, bend, and squat periodically.
Security Clearance Requirements:
Must possess a current security clearance at the Secret level, with U.S. Citizenship required for this clearance.
