Position Overview:

The Senior Marketplace Operations Analyst will serve as a pivotal link between the Provider Marketplace and Customer Experience divisions. This position is essential for evaluating and reporting on critical elements that affect staffing, scheduling, and demand forecasting, ensuring a well-balanced marketplace that can accommodate growing customer needs.

Reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Provider Pay & Operations, your role will focus on leveraging data to fulfill a singular objective: delivering timely and high-quality healthcare services and support to every patient. You will play a vital role in enhancing scalability, enabling our provider and customer experience teams to effectively manage the expanding patient demographic on the Hims platform. As a key advisor to the Care Operations leadership team, you will contribute to establishing a data-driven framework that informs business strategies at Hims, from overarching plans to daily operational tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct intricate data analyses and forecasting utilizing tools such as SQL, Looker, or Excel/Google Sheets to identify trends and insights.
  • Offer comprehensive data-driven strategies and recommendations regarding staffing levels to ensure a balanced marketplace amid fluctuations in volume.
  • Oversee various workforce operational metrics to pinpoint trends that influence staffing and demand.
  • Regularly assess business performance to address identified challenges and opportunities across departments.
  • Develop, document, and implement a foundational platform for data-driven decision-making related to marketplace equilibrium and workforce experience.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with a concentration in analytics, business, economics, or finance (preferred).
  • Over 5 years of relevant experience in a strategic analytical role, preferably within a dynamic, high-growth environment.
  • Advanced skills in quantitative analysis, data modeling, and forecasting using tools such as Looker, Excel/Google Sheets, and automation technologies.
  • Significant experience with SQL, including the ability to write complex queries for data analysis and reporting purposes.
  • In-depth knowledge of forecasting methodologies applicable in a high-growth direct-to-consumer company or consumer marketplace.
  • Strong communication abilities to convey complex data and insights to senior leadership.
